Degeres. Almaty oblast.

2009-07-18 | Askar Isabekov

After more the one month period without special birding trips I with Raufael Bairashev made the birding tour to Degeres. In the colony of Rosy Starlings there was the noise which I didn't wait. The parents of these young birds flew all around in the searching of the food. The juveniles which could self forging flew together with adult birds. The second popular today's bird was Lesser Grey Shrike. Shrikes fed juveniles too. The Demoiselle Cranes flew to the lake. There were two Grey Herons on the lake too. The interesting observation: the Black Stork flew out to the west. It was my second observation of the Black Stork in Degeres. Probably Storks nest in the local rocks. Also I saw three [...... read more ]
