    Description

    The all head, including the forehead, nape, ear coverts and chin is white.

    Distribution

    Occurs on migration in southern and south-eastern Kazakhstan. On Chokpak Pass migrates 15 April – 9 May and one record 24 September; on Sorbulak lake 17 April – 15 May and one record 12 September. One ringed at Alakol lake 8 July 1981. One male recorded 10 May 2003 at Kolshengel.
